Seniors' Services

Bus Schedule

The seniors' bus program is a door to door bus service provided to 30 Seniors Residences and supported in part by our Book Exchanges.

Saskatoon Co-op offers a free busing service for our senior members to our Greystone and Westview Marketplace Food Centres on the first and third Wednesday of each month (excluding July and August) from different locations across the city.

If you have any questions about our busing service, please contact the Marketplace Food Store location or call 933-3801 or contact us at saskatoon.coop@sasktel.net.

Flu Shots

Saskatoon Co-op has accommodated the Public Health Services on a yearly basis to hold influenza immunization clinics at our Greystone, Westview and Attridge Marketplace locations.  The Co-op locations are very important to the success of the influenza immunization program.  These clinics are usually held in early October or November of each year.  Posters are distributed by the Health Region as to when these clinics will be held.

Other community initiatives that Saskatoon Co-op is involved with:

  • Donations of food to the Saskatoon Food Bank and the Friendship Inn.
  • Participate in the CJWW Secret Santa program.
  • Charity Brunches held 4 times a year with part of the proceeds going to charities.
  • Encourage people to recycle their newspapers, plastic bags and egg cartons at our centres.
  • Encourage people to buy and use re-usable shopping bags to reduce the number of plastic bags in our community.
  • Meet or exceed all environmental standards for safe handling of hazardous goods.
  • Encourage and support the community-minded volunteer efforts of Saskatoon Co-op employees.
